I try to make you feel loved and cared,
But your heart is stone-cold, I'm scared.
Is my love not warm enough for you,
Or is it something else you pursue.

I ask myself every single day,
What's missing, what's standing in our way?
Is there a secret that I don't know,
Or is it just time for us to go.

My heart is weary, my soul is sad,
I thought our love was meant to be had.
But maybe it's time to let it go,
Perhaps we need to take it slow.

I'll hold on to my love and kindness,
It's what makes my heart full of brightness,
But if it's not enough for you my dear,
It's time to move on without fear.
