Birthdays aren't just
another day of the year.
They're a time to celebrate
with the ones you hold dear.

They're a time to be thankful
because you were given life.
To plants seeds in the world
and to shine His light.

Out of countless possibilities
in your looks and your genes;
Out of other could have been babies
He chose you - though unseen.

From the beginning,
God wanted you to exist.
He wanted you to be born
for such a time as this.

Show love to others
who need it the most.
Being humble and kind
lose your pride and don't boast.

He knew you'd be needed
for this exact time.
Chosen sons & daughters;
branches of the Vine.

Be thankful today
that He thought of YOU.
Today I am grateful
that He thought of me too.
