You've been a constant companion,
While I traversed the expanse of time,
You usurped my whole dominion,

But I hate you not,
On the contrary I thank you,
You've taught me a great deal,
And I learnt to sail through,

I surfed the tumultuous waves,
The ups and downs of mundane,
In the vast oceans of despair,
I learnt to endure pain,

Now I've changed for better,
Misgiving do not hurt anymore,
I enjoy every day even when,
Insecurity renders me unsure,

What's the worst that can happen,
I may perish in death's cold embrace,
I've been broken in so many pieces,
