looking at some old memories,
I got hold of you,
recalling our old stories,
I realised your importance and value

With the fluttering of each page
My heart skipped a beat,
knowing that my life could change,
I still continued to read

All those disappearing words,
were making me realize the fact, no matter how much I hide
I'll have, to have a payback of my act

those erased sentences,
couldn't help me to stop,
while those hidden messages
carried my guilt to top

I continued to read further
without noticing my tears,
while looking at our moments together,
I once again travelled through those same, old fears

accepting my emotions,
I got to the last page
feeling like having emotional explosions,
I broke my over thinking cage

reading the letter that you left for me
I realised how foolish I was,
And my heart felt painfully heavy
When I read that I was never the reason behind your chaos

the guilt of all these years
disappeared because of your words
And with that, I closed the book, considering it my happy ending
