Have you ever felt alone?
Life lacking meaning,
like a bird that never flown,
a name left unknown.


For years dreaming,

that one day I'd leave prison,

finding the pieces missing,

completing my journey home.

Never considering,

the world kept spinning,

as I had my life on pause.

Eventually forgotten,

brushed to the side,

out of sight, and alone.




Long awaited,

release from my cage,

only to learn,

my head was prison all it's own.

The demons that escaped town,

crept up the long way around,

ripping, and tearing my soul.

Crumbs of my life,

found scattered on the ground.




Afraid to die,

yet fantasize,

the thought to feel,

anything but anger,

I loaded the chamber,

spun it around,

but hear the sound,

of a familiar voice,
