"It'll all be alright"
That's the biggest lie,
I've ever heard,
The worst one, by far...

Has your world gone to hell yet?
Well, I can't claim to tell you,
What it feels like when it does,
So you'll have to learn that on your own,
Find that out all by yourself

Because Me?
I feel useless,
I don't see a future,
Only now,
And one step ahead,
We're next to put my feet

So if you feel your towers crumbling,
Go find yourself a knight,
You might be in need of saving...
Be they human,
Or a fairy,
Or even something,
Just a tad bit more scary...

Because Me?
I found myself a Demon,
To pull me from the rubble,
To help clear my lungs of dust,
To help brush off the rust

I didn't want to admit defeat,
But my fortress was crumbling,
Nothing more than rubble at my feet,
And so I found myself a knight,

Although,
I really do think that my insanity was right,
Because sometimes,
When I look at them,
All I see is the pitch black...
