Mirrors of You
who am I
if I am not the mirror of you?
do you believe that without you I am nothing more than a lie?
without you my view is left askew?
if so, then explain!
why I am nothing more than plain.
Here me and listen for I know,
is no reason at all.
for me to hear your call.....
you create the wrinkle in my brow.
the sour milk in my morning coffee,
drudging through a life of toffee.
weighted down by the guilt you own,
that I now have outgrown.
