A Canopy of Dreams
Islands above me
I’m drowning in air
in this endless sky
I’ll disappear
I’m trapped under the trees
I can’t breathe, I can’t run
from this beauty
my home, it’s safe
the light winks at me
I have to fly towards it
or I’ll be forever stuck
I feel the fallen leaves
crashing down on me
I know I can always run back here
If I ever need to escape
