I am Strong
I am Strong!
Watching the days turn to years, I slowly put a hold on time;
Eyes wide open as I scan through memories of time's past.
sadness, pain and the times when I crash.
But I am strong!
A pillar to those who raised me I have been, holding together the fabric of their being.
Watching the days turn to hours, I slowly turn back time.
Eyes wide open as memories of time's past flow through me.
An Anchor to you in your time of need.
Holding you firm, keeping you afloat.
Eyes wide open as memories of time's past invert, turning around almost as if to show me what I'm missing!
a different perspective?
A pillar! steadfast, immovable, standing idle Watching the world go by until a time when needed.
Appreciated!
Only to be left idle and alone
steadfast, immovable
Ears open wide as echoes of time's past invert,
rewinding screams left abandoned and unheard.
An anchor! sinking deep and alone, going deeper into the dark blue to keep them afloat.
But I am strong
A pillar! to lean on
A Man that carries your world on his shoulders.
A son that stands on his father's right hand
A brother who lifts you up so you can reach the sky
Steadfast, immovable
Watching the hours turn to minutes, I lay here counting every breath, my chest in pain and my body immobile
Crushed by the weight of your world!
But I am strong;
Strong enough to stand when you need me
A pillars, An anchor!
Steadfast, immovable
