The days were unending as were the nights,
She waited and waited and waited,
But there seemed no hope in sight…


She wonders why she was created,
But at a place far away saw she a light..,
A light that made her fainted,
On her feet again she made ready to fight,


Yet no way she was prevented..
She asked herself, "why should I be quite,
And watch my future ruined?
I also have the right,
To make my future bright,

The world is a journey.
Some walk and others fly.
The roads are many.
Anybody can ply''.

She shook her head,
And learnt a big lesson.
To wait and expect may hurt,
Success is hard work and not just a blessing.
