Most of the times I remain quiet,
To give myself some time and space;
But they think I'm not right,
And judge me with a harsh face.


They do not know the thoughts I keep,
The dreams I have, the hopes I hold;
They only see the surface deep,
And think I'm cold and uncontrolled.


But I alone can cherish
The stillness that surrounds me;
I find the peace and solace
That others fail to see.


So do not let them change your mind,
For you are rare and hard to find.
