When my Nation got its Freedom.
That day became a memory,
We rose our heads with pride and glory.

From the British free we became,
The hundred years of struggle had not gone lame.

The British became numb,
WHEN MY NATION GOT ITS FREEDOM.

The British behaved cruel,
Our blood was the economic fuel.

Mangal Pandey, the real gem,
First rose the fight against them.

The other freedom fighters followed him,
To light the nation which was really dim.

The struggle continued over 100 years,
We lost many beloved and dears.

For the British, it was like tasting an unripe plum,
WHEN MY NATION GOT ITS FREEDOM.

Happy Independence Day 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
