The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,

Neighbours suddenly became enemies,
No smiles, not even with a nod,
All you could see was the eyes of,
Shadows walking in daylight,

Today is the same as yesterday as will be tomorrow,
The clock tick tocks without rest,
However one could only wonder,
When you will breathe freely,

With the mindset of a Viking,
They wake up to fight every day and night,
Nobody knows what tomorrow holds,
But one can only hope to see the sun rise again.
