I had no say
Trembling feet, walking down the stairs,
I've learnt my lesson; Life isn't fair,
Can't comprehend your presence in my way,
The day you left, I knew I had no say.
Staring at your silhouette in the parking mirror,
In essence, I feel it couldn't get better,
But there's always a lineage in blood,
Forbidden; It's no longer the story of us,
The moment I knew our paths would go astray
was when the question was us and i had no say.
