Why? Huh I never stopped to think about it.

I simply read to escape reality while remaining in it.

I don't like this world you see, I don't enjoy this life.

But the words on the page, the people in those imagined lands, they bring my soul joy.

No life experience could diminish thumbing through a book and forgetting all at once you are only reading.
