The greatest woman that ever lived
Is what you are to me
Your loving heart brought joy to all
And to some you'll never meet.
The qualities that made you who you were,
Are too many to mention here,
But your unconditional love,
Is the one that I hold so dear.
You never failed to love me
Through all the wrong things that I did.
You never once discouraged me
Through the life that I have lived.
I believe you were the greatest person
To everyone that you met.
You left the legacy of a loving heart
That none of us will ever forget.
You had a hand in molding me
To the person I am today.
I was simply your grandchild,
But forever in my heart you'll stay.
Unconditional love is a gift.
That comes only from the heart
You loved me more than I ever deserved.
That's how I got my start.
You gave to me, a loving heart
That I generously give away.
If you hadn't taught me,
I wouldn't be the person I am today.
To all these people here today,
You, my mamaw, touched their lives,
They can feel you in their hearts.
I can see the love for you, in their eyes.
You were the greatest woman
That anyone ever knew
You will always be remembered.
Your loving heart, in me, shines through.
