Neverland

There she goes
Walking around unnoticed
Wishing she had confidence
Of who she once was

Breaking down inside
Feels as if she's falling
into a twisted vine
As each line across her wrist
Tells a sad story of how she lives

Where love never exist
Hard to forget the broken promises
From the ones she thought cared
That provided her pockets with lies
Until the moment they walked away
Why she even tried

The excuses
unforgettable betrayals
How they blamed her
She meant well
but it destroyed her kind hearted ways
No matter what she says
She drew the line that day
Which silence slowly moved
with the wind

Scream
Shout
Crying out
Lost all hope
Waiting for some kind of hero
until the moment it was to late
she left the beautiful story
of a lilac on display

Wrote the last page of her book
Before she takes her life today
All heads turn to look
Of how much the colors began to fade
She took a bow one more
time on the stage
Before she stepped down
To fall deep underground

Forever she'll be a rose in the garden
Laying next to her father
on this tragic day.
