From Greensboro to Goldsboro
A journey filled with wonder and awe
As we traverse the distance between
Two charming cities of the NC land.
Driving down the winding roads
Fields of sunflowers greet us with a smile
As farms stretch out as far as the eye can see
And evergreen woods whisper secrets to us.
Cattle grazing in the pastures
Horses galloping in the fields
And deer prancing alongside the main streets
Nature's symphony, a sight to behold.
But it's not just the scenic beauty
That makes this journey worth the while
It's the people, down to earth and friendly
Always ready with a warm smile.
As the weather changes, day by day
Like a rollercoaster ride, it takes us along
But one thing remains constant
The breathtaking sunset, oh so strong.
No matter which season, it steals our breath away
As the sky turns into a canvas of vibrant hues
The sun sinking below the horizon
A sight that never fails to amuse.
So let's rock and roll down this journey
From Greensboro to Goldsboro we go
Through fields of sunflowers, farms, and woods
With down to earth people and a magical sunset show.
