Universal Embrace
Regardless of birthplace or color of skin,
Your height or your gender, it’s the soul within,
Not who you love, or the title you hold,
Nor your possessions, or what you’ve been told.

Underneath it all, we’re exactly the same,
Drops of water in an ocean, no matter your name.
Here to experience just what we call Earth,
Learning all we can, since the moment of birth.

Before returning home, to the vast Universe,
It’s our fears of each other, that cause us to curse.
Distracting and confusing what we already know,
All the love that we share, may not always show.

Do not be afraid, those unknown, don’t hate,
They’re lessons, you see, simply our fate,
So open your arms, and each other embrace,
We’re one and the same, the whole human race.
