Dedicated this Poem to my Dad on Father's day

You leave so that I can choose to live…

Your battle is now over, no more tears flowing down your cheek,
no more pain, no more suffering, now you are no longer weak.
You were always there for me and never once made me cry,
until the day you closed your eyes and had to say goodbye.

Dad, it’s difficult when you left us, Mummy battled years with cancer.
In our Less, we’ve tried our best to make her better.
But God sees her pain and prefer to call her home
leaving us alone to battle with Life’s storm and future to come.

Dad I remember those lazy days when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you in your love, and in your smile.
I remember all those times when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened you could make my gray skies blue.

Dad, some days I hear your voice and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning...it seems the sound has been erased.
Although you will not be here to walk me down the aisle,
when that day comes I know you will be by my side with a smile.

Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time and once more hear your voice;
I'd tell you that out of all the dads you would still be my choice.
Please always know I love you and no one can take your place;
Years may come and go but your memory will never be erased.
When you left us we thought this is the end of our hope.
Everyday just the basic needs we fought for this is our only hope.
But today there is more hope, more life, more smiles in our face,
And we know this is the work of the heavenly Father and His Grace.

Today, Jesus, as You are listening in your home above;
Would you go and find my dad and give him all my love.
Today is Father's day, everyone have their Dad to spend a day
