My Sanctum
Sitting in this dark corner,
my mind inraged;
I look around in search for my cage,
the cage that traps the side I hope goes away with age.
As I gasp for air I feel him leave,
the good In me that always held on refusing to give;
Give in to the rage!
Sitting in this dark corner,
my soul a-blaze;
I look around in search for my anchor,
the anchor that binds me to the good nature i so deeply cherish;
As I fish for it in this sea of rage, I fear it'll perish yet I continue to surf the waves of rage in search.
Sitting in this dark corner,
my inner sanctum a-maze;
I look around in search for calm,
the calm that brings peace of mind,
It is a kind of peace that dwells in my sanctuary;
That is to say my sanctum sanctorum
