I stand alone looking outward
Staring towards the beauty
It enthralls me
The glass a barrier to keep me from going forward

White orchids in bloom
Yellow wings of a butterfly
fluttering across the view
A flash of red wings swoop quickly
a pair of cardinals dancing

Ants in formation marching
onward to fallen fruit
Guavas to ripe to ignore

Wind blows gently
Moving the shadows
of the trees in unision
everything in synch

On top of a fence post
a cat sits
it quietly gives off an aura
that says am I not a good host!

It stretches out a paw as to say
I welcome you to see all this beauty
in return when I see inward
it's full of dullness.
