The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
Something was on the loose,
Something horrible and gruesome,
Soon all public places were forced to shut down,
We were all ordered to stay home,
To wash our hands more often than normal,
To avoid contacts with our facial features,
To avoid social gatherings,
But it was spreading fast,
Killing people like rats,
What an alarming condition.
Some called it Death,
Others called it 'The Signs',
Scientists had a name for it,
They called it Corona,
A virus that became pandemic,
That resisted all known cure,
Some associated it with The End,
While the rest of the world cried for its end,
And willed the world to stay away,
To stay safe.
