The days too eventually fell silent,
No sounds, not even by the crows,
All you could hear was the sound of,
Fear knocking on the doors,
Heartbeat racing thousands of miles per minute,
Voices amplified in my head,
Conflicted by emotions about this version of reality.
The days muddled together all in one,
No longer feel like Saturday,
Time has been cut shorter and shorter,
Shorter and shorter,
As the nights wore thin,
As that man that woman lay there holding onto the chains of life,
Pleading for an extension,
Crying for others to heed the signs
And most of all,
Praying for all of us
Moral of the story,
Stay home,
Learn to be alone,
Be selfless,
Be kind,
Save a life,
Prioritize.......
