Flowers of love. They are in such a beautiful red color.Of course, roses are also in different colors, I mustn't forget that. They are beautiful when I look at them, I can't help but be surprised of their beauty. When I see a rose, I want to tear it off and give it to the person I care about.
But we must not forget that roses have thorns.
But, roses look so soft, so why do they have thorns?
A lot of people don't care about finding out why they have thorns. Because they don't seem to be dangerous and you can easily avoid them.
But I've wondered about why they have thorns.
Thorns on roses remind me of weapons. Weapons with which they protect themselves. It is also true. Roses have thorns as weapons, but that's not what I wanted to say.
I wanted to say that what do they need to protect themselves from?What do they want to protect themselves from?
People.
Although they are beautiful, they are not safe at all. Their beauty weakens them. And because they are beautiful, many people look at them, take pictures and touch them. And when people have a chance, they avoid the thorn and use it as an advantage and take the rose with them. And the rose can't do anything about it. They slipped through her thorns, and she is not safe anymore.

People try to be careful, but when they fail, someone gets them, use it for their advantage, and hurts them, or worse rape them.
That's what a rose symbolizes in my option.
The rose reminds me of the victims of rape, assaults, beauty.
But even if they try to fight with all their strength, it won't stop the violent people from taking advantage of them.
I like to look and admire roses…but they hold a deep meaning in my heart.
