#WritcoPoemPrompt41
Write a poem including as many of the following words (or variations on these words) as you like:
solecisms, connectome, recidivous, calico, performs.
;;
Locked in my body
I'll never forget how it happened
Collective shocks gripped my connectome
Every muscle in my body felt as stiff as stone
Solecisms were all that I could perform
Strength mustered to perpetuate
Odd and unusual twitchings of my tongue
Eventually all movement was taken from me
I have never felt so alone
Recently they realized that I could move my eyes
The only hope for my syndrome
Alas, this recidivous occurrence from left to right
Offered to me an escape from my usual humdrum
Now I spend my days in the same calico robe
This isn't where I belong
