JOURNEY THROUGH THE DARK...
As I raise my left leg and balance it on a tiny edge,it gives way and I fall a few feet. I keep holding as tight as I can. I know I need help. Though I've been helped this far, I need even more help.
I try to steady my toes on the shaky stones of the slope. But from high up the mountain, a rock comes crumbling down, bringing me another few feet down despite my fearful scream.
"Somebody help!" I scream in my head. I see a few people, but none seem to hear me. The only one who once heard me, now seem so busy and has left me to myself probably with the hope that I'd make it to the top of this monstrous mountain all alone. So it all seems like no one can help me much.
I gasp, my throat goes dry. Tears stream down my bruised face and the cold breeze come cruelly at me.
Holding on to a firm branch, I lift my pain-stricken body a few inches higher and set my feet on firm stones- hope now seem to be regained. I hold on for a few hours and try to catch my breath...but soon, I feel the stones beneath my feet shake. My fear hightens.
Now I look down in fear and find hungry wolves at the foot...
