Rollin down this lonely highway. These demons in my head dance along to the songs that the devil plays on my radio. I'm a rebel and he didn't know. I grabbed the wheel, petal to the metal, I'm feeling good as the whiskey in my veins and the gas in the tank flow… I flashed him a smile though…told him hell no I won't go.. Turn some Usher on the station cuz we bought to do it my way...Don't forget this life is just a game, it's all about the strategy like this story I'm about to tell you with my word play.
There was a voice from inside my soul, it sounded so pure, it was unlike anything I have ever heard. It was a light inside what used to be a black hole. This was something the world could never tame. She told me to rewire the main frame inside of my brain, download this software and you will never think the same.
You want happiness...And you want peace…But you can't sleep.. You feel so restless. You just want answers to the questions, that stay in your mind on repeat like those dope ol school r&b beats. But this entire time you've been living blind, following rabbits down holes and chasing after lost time. Life will constantly keep changing, there is no finish line.
I woke up quick to the loud tick tock of my clock, I was feeling hella good so I turned on some Pac. Counting my blessings for these better days. Seems so far away from when I prayed cuz I didn't know how I could go on for one more hour. I'm letting my hair down now, I found a way out of this burning tower. I'm a soldier at ease... I realized that the Beauty is in the Beast…. Serenity lies within the lines of the lies. I NO longer have to live my life the way you see fit or live in fear of being criticized.
