I Search for Freedom
I search for a way to escape
The mundanity of this place
To a world free from chaos,
A land of infinite silence,
A place where I'd stand in awe,
And breathe freedom.
Tell me if there's such a land,
A land where I'll be free,
Free from fire, floods, and famine, and all.
For I've felt my share of pain,
And longer can bear heartaches, nor carry burdens.
I'll search for freedom, I'll fight for it,
I'll search for peace,
I'll search for that place where my heart will rest with ease.
I'll search and search, until I find it, Or let me die.
