If I caught a falling star
I know exactly what I’d do
I would give its single wish
To someone who’s feeling blue

You see I could wish for a miracle
That wish would then come true
But I have no need for a miracle
As my miracle will always be you

I have only need of love or kindness
These two things I already see
When the lord gave me forgiveness
By leading you to me

Yes a falling star is beautiful
But sadly a star is there no more
So we can only glimpse a moment
Then in our memory, it we store

In you I see all the beauty I need
Without a wish, yet there you are
I will love you ❤️ my love forever
Without need to catch a falling star
