He tucks me in
His features soften
He breaths me in
He sees my beauty as starlight
Illuminating his night sky
My mind the pattern
The roadmap to my smile

And I wear his smile to bed
A cozy blanket to keep me warm
As I lay my weary head
To dream of moonlit walks
Near water
To let my mind wander
On the notion of forever

He says I love you dear
And I long to keep him here
To tangle myself in his arms
I know he causes me no alarm
His heart skips a beat
Each time our eyes meet
A kaleidoscope of events set in motion
Came together to cement this devotion
Developed by two shooting stars
Who together never have to question who they are
