Wrapped into the night of wonders
Winters love had never begun
Heard thoughts...not rumors
Thought..wished..wanted
To start this new year unwrapping
A season with kisses of laughter
Hugs of fun
It's not my time..maybe next run

Heavens reached to bless me
Tangled in a twist
Saw God's hand in detail
Then the vision disappeared into mist
Tonight when I prayed, asked for
Forgiveness for being late
Being twisted was a dip from a slight
Devil's risk
Do not accept failing, pick yourself up
Never play dangerous
Wrapped in a night of wonders
Wish for laughter with kisses
Hugs with no miss
