Heavy is the crown upon his head
The weight of all the world, he bled
Son of God, he came to reign
To heal the broken, ease the pain
With every step, he carried the cross
His purpose clear, he felt no loss
For he knew the journey he must take
To save us all, for our sake
He walked on water, calmed the storm
His miracles, his love, his form
A light in darkness, a guiding hand
The son of God, our Lord, so grand
His love was unconditional, pure and strong
For all the sins, he did no wrong
He took the burden, on his shoulders
For us, he was the ultimate soldier
He preached forgiveness, showed us grace
In his presence, we felt his embrace
He showed us how to love and live
The purpose of the son of God, to give
He was crucified, for our sins
But death was not where his story begins
For on the third day, he rose again
Defeating death, and breaking the chains
The son of God, he reigns above
His presence felt, with unconditional love
His purpose, to save and redeem
Through him, we find our ultimate dream
So let us lift our voices high
In praise and worship, our hearts reply
For the son of God, he came to save
And through his reign, our souls, he gave.
