The Passions of a young lover.
Love has descended,
the world sublime.
The gaze I see upon your face.
An arrow pierced my soul,
Tis' cupid's touch no doubt
A fire burns within my soul,
Unquenchable it's thirst.
The heat of passion it is within.
Its vapors escape not.
Like white heat it devours inside.

Days pass with no meaning,
Awaiting your touch my evenings I spend.
Your scent like that of a deer's musk
Enraptures my every being.

The stars bejewelled twinkle at me,
The moon beckons me,
The night air calls to me,
Without you the firmament has no joy.

An hour in your presence,
Enchants my soul. Silent meetings I crave for,
Beneath the summer sky.

Just as the spring is awaited
So wait I for your presence,
To enchant me once again.
Then time shall cease and I'll be yours...
