Wrong time for me
In society full of empty shells,
bodies, but all of them soulless,
Sad faces behind laughing masks,
Where do I fit in? Where is my place?
I don't want to be empty,
I wanna cry, love, laugh,
Simply, I just wanna feel,
That much I owe to myself.
Fake people, fake friends,
Call you only when they are in need,
But when you text them,
They leave you mostly on read.
In the past was much simpler,
People were warm and always together.
They laughed and sang and danced,
In winter nights, whole family was at front of the fireplace.
So now, when I sit alone and think,
Writing silently in my old, good diary.
I've been born in a wrong time and place,
Maybe I just belong to another century.
