When does the mourning end?
I cried again today.
The tears have yet to stop
Since the day you went away.
I saw that day how sick you were.
But I dared to believe you'd be okay.
Her sister said be ready.
But her words I would ignore
Believing you'd come home
And it would be like it was before.
8 months, my heart is still on the mend.
