The obtuse angle

We need a bulldozer that will flatten the ominous arc
'Cause if you read the news about what everyday gives birth to,
And if your tears are as close as the coming of Christ,
Then we expect a sound of pain from the radio speakers of your soul

Down here news is terrific
And everytime one tunes in to a television channel,
All that one gets to hear are statistics of the number of people who have since died
due to a viral novel infection

Once upon a time the angle of infection was acute
Then it slowly became a right angle
Then an obtuse,
And right now the figures of fear are still climbing the ladder escalatingly
Then soon and very soon we might have a straight line that cuts deep through the flesh of this globe
Then the angle will mutate into a circle of 360 degrees

A circle looks like a zero
And when there is a zero it only means one thing,
That there's really nothing.
