Wouldn't it be nice
to sit back in heaven with a bag of chips
and watch clips of our soon to be parents?
That way you'd know what you're up against
And probably plead for an exchange
if they're not so "parenty" enough for you,
or better still swipe a giant screen till you find a worthy pick.
A dozen full if not millions would love to have a different parent. A better parent.
We would have been spared the childhood trauma
all the unnecessary parent-induced depression
The lack of love or
not experiencing the feeling of being loved.
Is there a time out?
we could have been better people
at least some of us tried to be
