In your eyes, I used to find solace and truth,
But now they're filled with deceit, a painful sleuth.
Betrayal lurks where love once brightly shone,
Leaving me lost and utterly alone.

Your gaze once held promises so sweet,
Now it's a dagger, cutting deep, complete.
Eyes that once whispered tales of love untold,
Now speak lies, leaving my heart cold.

I trusted in the honesty they portrayed,
But now I see the falsehoods they've displayed.
Each glance, each look, a painful reminder,
Of the betrayal that tore our love asunder.

Eyes don't lie, or so they say,
But yours did, leading my heart astray.
Now I'm left with shattered dreams and tears,
As I mourn the love lost to your deceitful spheres.
