Remarkable was the day of your birth,
Remarkable was your childhood,
And the years that followed too soon,
Remember your journey one last time,
Before you close your eyes.

Remarkable was the life you lived.
The wonderful impact you made,
Will always be remembered,
Though the spot you left will ache,
The space you left too great,
You will be remembered fondly.

Who shall I turn to when I cry,
When it thunders and rains in my heart,
Who shall be my shade from the trials of life,
I am left to wonder.

Calm your heart as you go forth,
For you have prepared me for what lies ahead,
The journey hence forth may be difficult.
But I will conquer it all.

Be calm as you go forth,
For though you have expired,
And the pain unfathomable,
Your teachings are immortal,
And it shall lead me through the maze of life.
