Her eyes gleamed with the light
Of her inner strength,
She had walked miles,
Not worried about the length,
Nor the stretch of her destination.
Wore a smile that when looked upon;
Made the heart of any flutter,
Hiding the weariness
From which she journeyed.
For she was sunshine in human form.
A woman with a strength
So commendable and worthy of emulation.
