Racism and injustice in the world that I see
America lied when they said we were free
we're terrorized by racists and those in blue
yet telling the truth they would say is taboo.
A strong black man they lynched to a tree
powerful and strong and he just wasn't free
black men like me are terrorized with force
America looks at us and don't have remorse.
It's racism and injustice that rules the world
it's sad that they're killing both boys & girls
being a black man and living with this fear
one good look and they want us to disappear.
The color of my skin they know have power
yet they would terrorize each & every hour
it's racism & injustice that's ruling the world
I wish we could've protected the boys & girls.
