The fragrance of my childhood,
Hides in the folds of your embrace,
I acted tough mom... just so that none of them out there would bully me..
But I'd run to you to share my worries.
You'd stand there waiting for me with a smiling face...
And I'd smile the same.. but no matter how I tried to hide the pain.. you'd know.
You could always see through me
You smiled with me and you cried with me.. but never did you let me face it all alone.
For even though you weren't there but I could always feel your presence sparking a hope right in my heart.
All the worries would disappear when you'd lightly pat my head and say, 'I believe in you.'
You aren't just the reason of my birth but you also are the reason why I love my life.. no matter how it is..
Stay happy mom...
And I promise to stay happy just for you
