I never tip and or dump — I only spill
I used to pour my all into all until
I found myself to have a chalice bone dry
And guess what folks, you can't just go out and buy
More of any of the things that fill said cup
I learned that the hard way — took time to catch up

It took ages for my goblet to refill
Was avoiding hills like the big one on Mill
I walked around town with an easy wring mop
In case I tripped and tipped out another drop
I became right protective of my transfuse
Which lead to me figuring out the who's whose
To figuring out what I still stood to lose
If I didn’t start spending time as my own muse
