O Insult how to react to you
It arises pity and anger within
Making me feel down from in
For the undervaluing it did for me

But then I feel that I need to ignore
Of things that are not in my control
Things which I cannot change
I should keep those out of my range

Feeling upset is natural for that moment
But holding and repeating is not for my good
Let me accept what had happened
But just ignore actions not under my control

It is not the end of the world
Out there are people who love you the way
Feel good for those who accept you
And not those who insult you

O insult I do feel upset
But then you awaken me to the other side
Of the people I need to look for
People who value you for all you are
