Garden Of Memories

As I walked through the isle of the garden we planted together,
The joys, tears, and memories we imprinted on the flowers,
I began to reminisce each memory while gazing at the flowers.
I remember the first time we planted a flower,
I'll never forget that day, it was your favorite,
A Primrose you couldn't take your eyes off marked the beginning of our bond and the foundation of our partnership.
You asked what mine were but at the time, I was too embarrassed to talk about it,
We both laughed as we planted the primroses.
Smiling as the memory faded, I passed by the hibiscus I brought as a souvenir, Though it was in critical condition at the time.
We were both inexperienced flower doctors as we called ourselves back then,
But we wanted to take of the hibiscus and see it thrive,
Looking back at how we did, I couldn't help but laugh at our role playing and naivety.
The Red roses were planted the day we realized our love for each other,
We shared a passionate kiss and watched it, never failing to water it together
Lilies were the first gift I gave you when you cried and was feeling down,
It was your source of comfort even more than I was(laugh),
You never said thank you but I knew that lilies you couldn't do without,
I was only happy your happiness wasn't lost.
I Remember the one night we sat on the grass against each other,
Basking in our warmth and gazing at the stars,
The dandelions besides us had caught my eye,
I took it, we blew it and wished us a long love life.
I was finally approaching the end of the garden,
And there you were, squatting as the flower at the very end was being held,
I walked towards you with my gaze unfazed,
Nothing was going to stop me today
You rose up when you knew I was close,
Turned around to leave, but I held your clothes,
Pulled you round and around and then held you close,
Brought my head to your ear and I whispered slow,
"I'm sorry I ran away when you needed me most".
You wrapped your arms around me as you cried and cried,
You said "I waited so long for you to tell me those words"
The flower of the sun which made you shed tears when we're apart,
Gave you Justice and brought us back together at last.
