Today, my heart is heavy with unease
My mother's health, a worrying tease
I begged her rest, a day of reprieve
But she refused, her strength to retrieve

She took on chores, with determined stride
Leaving me frustrated, tears to hide
I pleaded with her, to slow her pace
But she smiled and said, "I'll find my space"

Her love for us, a driving force
A selfless heart, that ignores her course
Though I'm angry, and tears do flow
Deep down, I know, she loves me so

Her unwavering dedication, a guiding light
A mother's love, shining through the night
I'll swallow my pride, and hold her tight
Grateful for her, and her loving might

So I'll dry my tears, and lend a hand
Support her strength, in this demanding land
Together we'll face, life's every test
A daughter's love, forever at her best.
