It began with a look
Of admiration and attraction
Shy and intriguing
Across the room and out the door
That turned to smiles and conversation

It turned to walks late at night
Chilvray in her body language
Protective by nature
Walk me home
Hold my hand

It ended in a writh
Nonstop craving
She said I smell like heaven
Peaches & honeydew
Marmalade & sugar

She said my skin glows with glitter
My eyes made of stardust
Lips made of rose petals
Skin made of clay
The universe in my soul

Bodies electric together when they touch
Her fingertips made me blush
Grasping for a texture that’s not my own
Gripping my mouth to stifle shy moans
Her kisses make me feel less alone

I love the way she looks at me
Her eyes demonic but movements heavenly
Kill my timid heart
And bring out the wild within me

The way she breaths when I please
Excites the most devilish parts of me
I made her scream in ecstasy
Beg for me after three
She dreams of me when away I keep

We laid asleep in safe company
Her arms around I, she behind me
She held me closely, like a lost puppy
Made me feel loved, alive, and happy
But all good things come to and end, you see

She drove me home at midnights hour
After stargazing in her pickup truck near the tower
Confessed she loves the way I look at her
We still get butterflies when together
Yet she and I aren’t for each other

She asked for a hug, and held me tight
Nuzzled my neck, then stared in my eyes
She kissed me softly, and said goodnight
I walked through my door, and watched her drive off into the night
I haven’t seen her since, yet I hope I might
