The Ravens Return
She lays motionless on the floor, so cold
Numb to the pain her heart holds
Waiting for her Raven to come
Entombed in a crypt of her own making
She quiets the noise, peace creating
Waiting for her Raven to come
Invisible in her world, her voice a whisper
She cries in silence, no one hears her
Waiting for her Raven to come
Soon it will become to much to bear
Feelings of worthlessness to hard to wear
Waiting for her Raven to come
The knife held fierce against her vein
Slices softly to relieve her pain
Her Raven has returned to stake his claim
Her Raven embraces her lifeless form
Warming her soul, to be reborn
To leave her world, to come home
Together evermore
