Ignited Cigarettes, scattered on the street,
awful smell encompassing its length and breadth,
only bridge to my neighbourhood,
how do I go across them today again?

Ashes on the ground,
burnt fragrance in the air,
it feels like different graveyard there.
Don't they get it, smoking is injurious to health?

Some are addicts,
for some its fashion.
Some are illiterates,
and for some it's the status of the literates.
But how can they not know that it is illegal to smoke in public place?
